Little Hayes in Totland Bay is a beautifully maintained home which boasts panoramic views of the Bay.  The home is situated on the Western end of the Isle of Wight and set in one acre of peaceful, secluded and landscaped grounds. With a welcoming relaxed feel you will be hard to fault the tranquil atmosphere.

The home has 32 single bedrooms all of which have en-suite facilities and are furnished to a high standard. A stunning lounge with bay windows over looking the sea. A large secluded garden, which residents help keep maintained. The upper floor holds a large activities lounge where residents take part in an array of events and activities which also involve the local community.

Our expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care and comfort of all our residents, specialising in particular with dementia care patients. We are very person centred and think about their whole needs, which includes their wellbeing. Each resident is included in days out and activities they will enjoy as an individual. Staff come in on their rest days to help out with days out and activities, this is all done off their own back.

Our team treat the residents like a family, our staff are reliable, patient and empathetic, as well as observant.

Little Hayes has a lovely open plan living space and quiet lounge which backs onto the beautiful dementia friendly garden, where our residents benefit from our private and secure landscaped garden for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercising.

Every resident benefits from their own spacious and private bedroom equipped with an en suite.

We have a very active lifestyle at our home with various activities happening inside the home and outside. We take our residents on trips to the local garden centres, beaches and shops, as well as places such as Butterfly World and Monkey Haven. As part of our wellbeing activities we include a whole range of animal therapy, where our residents can pat animals such as ponies, donkeys, tortoises and guinea pigs. There are community activities where we visit a dementia cafe and join the local dementia choir.

Within the home there are opportunities for our residents to visit the hairdresser and have beauty treatments such as hand massage and nail painting as well as Chiropody treatments.
